Sohar International announce Salary Transfer Monthly Draw winners under it Prize Scheme

During an exciting prize draw ceremony, Sohar International announced the names of the 10 winners of its recent Salary Transfer Monthly Draw for the month of May The special event held at the Ministry of Education’s Directorate General of Education in Buraimi is part of Sohar International’s campaign “Now That’s Winning”, and also comes in line with Sohar International aspirations to help customers, communities and people prosper and grow. The draw ceremony was held in the presence of Moosa Ali Al Hinai, Director General of Education, senior management from Sohar International, as well as senior officials from the Ministry.

Mr Khalil Al Hedaifi, Chief Retail Banking Officer, who represented Sohar International at the event mentioned “Sohar International’s purpose has always been to enable people win and achieve their desired goals. We spare nothing when it comes to focusing on our customers and therefore have created dedicated draws for various segments amongst which we have the Salary Transfer Draws. With the Salary Transfer Monthly Draws, and our other Prize Schemes under the ‘Now That’s Winning’ campaign, we emphasize the savings concept among customers and communities across the Sultanate and encourage all to continue savings.”

The winners of the draw are Ahmed Al Awimari from Bahla branch, S. H. H from Avenues Mall, Adnan Al Lawati from Al Qurum branch, Nasser Al Siyabi from, Al Wattaya Branch, Hakam Al Abri from Al Azaiba Branch, A. A. A. from Privilege Banking, Omar AL Makhamri from Shinas Branch, Talib Al Hosni from Al Khabuora Branch, S. N. S. from Privilege Banking and Nasser Said from Quriyat Branch.

Each of the 10 winners of the Monthly Salary Draw walk away with equal shares from a total cash prize of OMR 5000. Only customers transferring a total sum of OMR 500 or more and maintain a minimum monthly average balance of OMR 100 at Sohar International qualify for the Salary Transfer Monthly Draws.

The Salary Transfer Monthly Draw is part of Sohar International’s 2019 Prize Scheme under which monthly draws with prizes worth OMR 100,000 are equally shared between four winners; two from the General and two from the Wealth Management Segment. Recently, the bank also introduced the Monthly Youth Draws for 10 lucky winners aging between 18 and 25 of OMR 200 each. .

That’s not all - each of the bank’s customers is also eligible for the Quarterly Draws take place in March and September with a cash prize of OMR 200,000 to be split equally between two customers in the General segment and two customers from the Wealth Management segment. In addition, Sohar | Prize Scheme 2019 also includes Omani Woman’s Day and 49th Omani National Day draws. The draws of the Omani Woman’s Day will reward 10 female customers a total of RO 10,000, while the 49th Omani National Day draws will give away RO 49,000 to 49 winners. .

The biggest prize of the year under the scheme is of course the 2019 Year-End grand draws, which will be giving away a total of OMR 400,000; that will be distributed equally between four customers - two from the general segment and two from the wealth management segment.

It is important to note that all Sohar I Prize Scheme 2019 accounts get four chances to win, for every minimum average balance maintained in their accounts, while Minor accounts receive double these opportunities. The Sohar I Prize Scheme 2019 is not exclusive for accounts in Omani Rial only; saving accounts that are maintained in AED, GBP and USD are also eligible to participate in Sohar | Prize Scheme 2019. For those customers who wish to save without participating in the prize draws, Sohar International also has the alternate provision of choosing interest-bearing accounts.
