Reinforcing its role as a facilitator of socio-economic development through empowerment of youth in different professional fields, Sohar International recently sponsored the graduation ceremony of the Oman College of Health Sciences and Higher Institute of Health Specialists. Honouring over 550 students from different health specialities on their graduation success, the event was held under the auspices of His Excellency Dr Said Hamed Said Al Rubaii, Secretary for General of the Education Council. Also present at the ceremony were His Excellency Dr Ali Talib Ali Al Hinai, Undersecretary for Ministry of Health for Planning Affairs, Mr Khalil Al Hedaifi, Chief Retail Banking Officer, with other senior officials from the bank’s retail segment.

Receiving a token of appreciation for the bank’s support, Mr Khalil Al Hedaifi, Chief Retail Banking Officer said, “As part of our new brand identity and vision of becoming a world-class Omani services company, the Bank has always supported such initiatives that help customers, community and people to prosper and grow. Such initiatives laud upon the efforts taken by the Ministry of Health in building the capacities of Omanis in crucial and critical sectors like healthcare.”
